Short answerGo to Settings › Privacy & Security › Camera (and Microphone) to see which apps have access and switch any off. A green dot at the top of the screen means the camera is in use; an orange dot means the microphone is.

Check access

  2. Tap Camera.
  3. Turn off apps that don’t need it.
  4. Repeat for Microphone.

The dots

  • Green: camera in use (with or without the mic).
  • Orange: microphone in use.
  • Open Control Centre to see which app used it recently.

Good habits
